I'm a Vancouverite by birth and a long suffering Canucks fan. My first hockey memory is watching the Canucks play Game 3 of the 2002 Western Conference Final against Detroit, and the infamous Cloutier beach ball goal. As a journalist, I'm inspired by the late Jason Botchford, and the energy, humour, and originality that he brought to the Vancouver market. As a participant in the Botchford Project last year, I feel responsible in carrying on Jason's legacy of top notch journalism.
