Canucks lines vs Islanders: Expected lineups and goalies
The Vancouver Canucks (11-3-1) host Bo Horvat and the New York Islanders (5-6-3) Wednesday night, with the former captain returning to Rogers Arena for the first time since being traded in February. Anthony Beauvillier will face his old Islanders teammates as well.
Thatcher Demko will return to the crease tonight, squaring off with Islanders star Ilya Sorokin at the other end. Abbotsford call-up Akito Hirose will not play Wednesday. Instead, veteran Mark Friedman will return to the lineup, giving Vancouver an unconventional amount of right-shot defenders in their lineup. Teddy Blueger should continue in the place of Nils Hoglander, with the former Vegas Golden Knight playing in his second straight game.
