The Vancouver Canucks were looking for their second straight victory on home ice as the Nashville Predators came to town.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t build off the momentum from the overtime win over the New York Rangers.

The Canucks didn’t look as flat as they did in past games as they did get plenty of offensive zone time but it wasn’t enough.

Defensively, there were still some mistakes and the breakouts were a bit better from the past but not perfect.

It was Diwali night for the Canucks and for theme nights they make the players wear warm-up jerseys representing that theme.

The Diwali jerseys look very nice. They were designed by Jag Nagra, a local South Asian Artist.

They looked so nice that they even got the attention of Vancouver-born actor Seth Rogen.

Happy Diwali to those who celebrate.

The Canucks did put up a good fight against the Predators but two of the three takeaways made them lose the game.

Alright, here are the three takeaways from Vancouver’s 3-2 home loss to Nashville.
