Vancouver Canucks at Colorado Avalanche: Preview, Lineups
The Vancouver Canucks will try to take their second game of back-to-back against the struggling Colorado Avalanche tonight.
The Vancouver Canucks will try to continue a successful road trip when they visit a former Northwest Division rival, the Colorado Avalanche.
Both teams have struggled to find consistency and are among the bottom feeders in the Western Conference.
A win for the Canucks would bring a ton of confidence moving forward. This team has played better since blowing a 3-0 lead in the third period against the Chicago Blackhawks a week ago.
Vancouver will try to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to the Dallas Stars last night.

WHO’’S ON DEFENCE:
Troy Stecher: The undrafted rookie blueliner always dreamed of playing for his hometown team. He’s taken the most of it by showing his flashy skills at both ends of the rink.
WHO’’S IN NET:
Ryan Miller: It’s been a forgetful start for Miller, but he gives this team a chance to win each night provided there’s some help in front of him.

WHO’’S ON OFFENCE:
Nathan MacKinnon: Avalanche fans continue to wait for the 2012 first-overall pick to break out as a franchise face. That hasn’t happened yet, but MacKinnon remains the top player on this team.
Matt Duchene: The speedy sniper has remained one of the lone bright spots on a struggling team, and should push 30 goals this season.
WHO’’S ON DEFENCE:
Tyson Barrie: One of the NHL’s top rising blueliners has been worth every penny of his $22 million extension he signed over the summer.
WHO’’S IN NET:
Semyon Varlamov: With the play regressing in front of him, Varlamov hasn’t looked like the Vezina candidate we’ve seen in recent years. That’s not on him, though.
