Following yet another disappointing season in 2016-17, the Vancouver Canucks have a long list of important things that must be done in the offseason.

It’s never a dull moment for the Vancouver Canucks when it comes to the offseason, but this summer offers plenty of more intrigue compared to other years.

For one, this team is needed a new head coach after Willie Desjardins received his pink slip two weeks ago. That position will be filled with Utica Comets head coach Travis Green. For another, this team is going to have to decide if they’re ready to finally dedicated to a rebuild. If they are, then general manager Jim Benning and president Trevor Linden will have to decide which veterans to move out.

Also, whom will the Canucks look at in free agency? How will they approach the upcoming draft in June? Who will they leave exposed in the Vegas Golden Knights expansion draft?

So many questions, so little time.

Here is a look at the five things the Canucks have to do in the offseason.
