Me and my mom at a Canucks game last season. =)

I have been bleeing blue and green since I was able to pay attention to television. I grew up a Canucks fan and I can’t imagine cheering for any other team. I have managed to only witness one of the three stanley cup losses, and it’s still a bitter topic for me. Say something bad about Vancouver and I’ll probably jump down your throat, say something bad about me and I probably won’t bother to say anything. Funny how things work eh? I am currently a first year University student studying to be a Journalist.
A lot of people have more serious passions like art, photography, or music, mine is hockey. I will always have a place in my heart for this sport and I will never get sick of it (well unless Vancouver decides to lose another stanley cup finals, I might just lose it!)
Favorite Player: Alexandre Burrows and Sidney Crosby
Favorite Goalie: Roberto Luongo
Most Memorable Canuck Moment: I’ve got to say the most memorable moment for myself would be when we “slayed the dragon”. Besides the gold medal hockey game at the 2010 olympics, I don’t think I have ever cheered so much for something in my entire life. Being that Alex Burrows scored the winning goal, it was just icing on the cake. It was the most stressful, anxious, and amazing game I have ever watched. That by far is the most memorable and I hope that there will be more games like that (okay, maybe not a game seven overtime because who wants that?)
Team Luongo or Team Schneider? There is no doubt in my mind, Luongo is going to have my heart until the day he leaves this uniform and he will always be my favourite goaltender. My trust has never wavered even when every single person said he was choking. He is our man and I will stand behind him forever.
