Charlie Sheen donates $10,000 to ALS foundation after being challenged by Ryan Miller

Ryan Miller recently did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and nominated quite the famous name to take part next, putting former Two and a Half Men and Major League star Charlie Sheen on the spot as Miller’s wife is currently working alongside Sheen as an actress.

Sheen responded today, but he didn’t pour ice water over his head. Sheen decided to make it rain like only Charlie Sheen can, donating $10, 000 to help support the cause with his pocketbook. Of course Sheen did film a video, pouring money over his head and explaining why he was donating money rather than taking part in the viral campaign.

Sheen said on his YouTube video, which was posted by TMZ “Ice is going to melt, but this money is actually going to help people,” a true statement that is the entire point of the Ice Bucket Challenge in the first place. It is good to see this type of activism paying off with money raised to help those who are suffering, and the fact that Ryan Miller reached out to Sheen makes it an even better offseason story.
