Injured Vancouver Canucks’ Kevin Bieksa Spotted with a Walking Boot

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Injured Vancouver Canucks defenceman Kevin Bieksa was spotted with a walking boot at YVR on Wednesday, suggesting he has some kind of foot injury.

Bieksa missed the five games prior to the Olympic break with what has been described as a “sore foot.” He had apparently been dealing with the injury since early January.

A walking boot would suggest Bieksa has a broken foot of some sort, which will probably keep him out of the Canucks lineup for at least a few weeks.

Jordan Schroeder suffered a fracture in his left ankle in the preseason and missed three weeks, nine games. He refractured it when he returned on October 19, 2013 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
