Vancouver Canucks Winger David Booth “Banged Up” Per John Tortorella

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Vancouver Canucks left winger David Booth wasn’t a “healthy scratch” for the team’s SuperSkills event on Saturday, according to head coach John Tortorella.

He says Booth was excused from the competition because he is ”banged up.”

It makes you wonder how is it even possible Booth is “banged up” from sitting in the press box the last two games as a healthy scratch, but that’s what the coach is saying.

Booth alternated on the fourth line with Mike Santorelli, Darren Archibald, and Dale Weise at practice.
