David Booth a No Show at Vancouver Canucks Superskills

Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports

Vancouver Canucks left winger David Booth, who has been a healthy scratch the last two games, did not appear at the team’s SuperSkills competition.

He was scheduled to take part, but no showed last minute, according to CKNW’s Matt Lee.

Alexander Edler, Alexandre Burrows, Roberto Luongo, Jordan Schroeder, Ryan Stanton, and Andrew Alberts also did not take part, but they are all dealing with injuries.

It is very possible Booth could simply be injured or dealing with the flu and it was decided it would best for him to stay away from the team. Chris Higgins missed last Sunday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks with the flu.

The Canucks play next on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
