Canucks and Senators Heritage Classic Tickets Not Selling Well

A local Vancouver broker says tickets for the Heritage Classic between the Vancouver Canucks and Ottawa Senators is not selling well during its pre-sale for season ticket holders.

From News 1130:

Kingsley Bailey with Vancouver Ticket doesn’t have hard numbers, but says there are a few reasons people aren’t snatching up the tickets. ”It’s a one-off game but it’s buried with six Heritage Classic games this year. We don’t have the best Canadian team as our opposition and the prices are way too high.”

Bailey thinks you should wait to buy tickets because they are likely to drop in price.

Tickets start at just over $93 for the seats located closest to the field where the view is the worst. The best views are the priciest at nearly $314.

Since the Heritage Classic is a NHL event, the prices are set by the league and not part of the Canucks season ticket holder package.
