EA Sports Simulation Predicts Canucks Win in 7 Games Against Sharks

An EA Sports NHL 13 simulation of the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs is predicting a Vancouver Canucks win over the San Jose Sharks in seven games in the first round, but it will be a short lived playoff run.

The Canucks will be swept in the second round by the defending Stanley Cup Champions, the Los Angeles Kings.

In the Western Conference Finals, the Chicago Blackhawks will defeat the Kings to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. The New York Rangers will then take the Stanley Cup in six games with Rangers centre Brad Richards capturing the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoffs most valuable player.

Last season, EA Sports predicted the Canucks would defeat the Kings in the first round in six games, but as we all know the Kings took the series in five games instead en route to a Stanley Cup win.
