Vancouver Canucks prospect and Chicago Wolves defenceman Chris Tanev is currently sidelined with an undisclosed injury. Wolves head coach Scott Arniel says the defenceman is day-to-day.
Tanev had been skating on the Wolves top defence pairing with Kevin Connauton, but was a scratch on Saturday and Sunday’s contests against the San Antonio Ramage and Grand Rapids Griffins.
The Wolves had three games in three nights, so it could just be a matter of Tanev being “banged up” and just needed time to heal some bumps and bruises.
Tanev, 22, has no points and is a minus-1 in six games.
