Chicago Wolves Trim Roster as Darren Archibald Sent to ECHL

In preparation for the 2012-13 American Hockey League season, the Chicago Wolves trimmed down there roster on Wednesday by three more players. The Vancouver Canucks assigned left winger Darren Archibald to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.

Defenceman John Negrin was also assigned to the Wings by the Wolves. Centre Kenton Miller was signed to an AHL contract and assigned to the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League.

According to the press release, the Wolves roster now has 28 players—17 forwards, nine defencemen, and two goaltenders. These players are:

There are not roster limits in the AHL, so teams are free to carry as many players as they wish.
